Federal Talent. Mission Ready.
Federal Group Talent Partners helps prime contractors, federal agencies, and growing GovCon firms hire the cleared and credentialed people who win and execute federal work. We recruit nationwide, we move at the speed of contract award, and our recruiters write the kind of tight, mission-aligned roles that real federal candidates respond to.
Federal Group Talent Partners is a Northern Virginia headquartered federal talent firm placing cleared and uncleared candidates across DoD, the IC, and civilian agencies for contract recruiting, surge staffing, executive search, and direct-hire engagements. We work nationwide with prime contractors, subs, and federal employers who need to hire fast against contract milestones without compromising clearance integrity or GovCon-experience standards.
Four practices, one mission alignment.
The federal contract talent lifecycle, end to end. Choose the engagement model that matches the work; we let the work define the structure, not the other way around.
Contract recruiting
Pre-award proposal staffing, post-award delivery hiring, key personnel substitution.
Cleared talent
Public Trust through TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph. Verified clearances only.
Executive search
Retained search for program executives, capture leads, and federal sales leadership.
Contract staffing
Surge staffing the day a contract drops. 5 to 50 candidates inside 30 to 90 days.
Three domains. One delivery standard.
Defense recruiters know defense. Intel recruiters know intel. Civilian recruiters know civilian. The work moves to the right team.
Federal-grade discipline. Plain-English service.
We publish our methodology, we verify clearance claims, we sign NDAs, we treat candidate data carefully. Federal recruiting is YMYL territory and we treat it that way.
Clearance integrity
All clearance claims verified through approved channels before submission. We never falsify clearance levels and we decline to work with anyone who would.
NDA on every sensitive engagement
Pre-award proposal work, executive search, and IC engagements all run under signed NDAs from kickoff. Candidate data treated with the same discipline.
Methodology published
Our recruiting methodology is documented in the Insights library. Clients see exactly how we source, screen, and submit before they engage.
Two ways to start.
If you have a position to fill, tell us about the role. If you have federal experience, tell us about your background. Same firm, two intake paths.
Frequently asked questions
Do you place cleared talent?
Yes. Federal Group places candidates with active clearances across the spectrum — Public Trust, Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI with full-scope poly. We verify clearance levels through approved methods and never source candidates whose clearance verification cannot be substantiated through proper channels.
What kinds of federal roles do you fill?
Program management, contract management, software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, cleared facilities and operations, financial management, acquisition support, and executive leadership across DoD, the IC, and civilian agencies. We focus on roles where federal experience and clearance posture genuinely matter; we decline roles that do not need federal-specific expertise.
Are you a prime contractor or a recruiting firm?
We are a recruiting and talent advisory firm. Our clients are prime contractors, federal subcontractors, and agencies hiring directly. We do not compete for prime contract awards; our entire business is filling positions at firms that do.
How fast can you turn around a slate?
First slate within 48 hours for most positions where the clearance and skill profile is in our network. Niche clearances (TS/SCI with full-scope poly, specialized language qualifications, specific agency familiarity) take 5 to 10 business days. Pre-award contingent staffing is its own track with a defined methodology we share during scope conversations.
Do you support small businesses and 8(a) firms?
Yes. A meaningful share of our work is with small business primes, 8(a) firms, SDVOSB, WOSB, and HUBZone contractors competing for set-aside work and prime awards. We understand the specific constraints around small business reporting, capacity demonstration, and key personnel risk.
Where are you located?
Headquartered in the Washington DC metro area with a national delivery footprint. We recruit nationwide and place candidates anywhere a federal mission requires presence — including OCONUS deployments where contract terms permit.
